Fabric puzzle DIY

Hello everyone.. This post is about sewing. Its a beginner friendly fun project. Its a puzzle and we gonna make it using fabrics. I saw these on many crafty sites and made one puzzle. Now Im going to share how to make this fabric puzzzzzzzle.☺





Alright things you need for this are:
       Background Fabric of your choice (better be plain) I used knit fabric.
       Velvet or felt for making figures.
       Sewing machine
       Scissors

First decide what kind of theme you like to use.. I made it simple by whale.. I cut out whale figure in velvet fabric and kept aside..
Now sew the whale in background fabric. I suggest you to use thick fabric like felt for this..
Now sew some outlines of different shapes by leaving space between each shape.



Now cut on the spaces between shapes . these spaces are to separate those shapes. Now it will be like like this.. Your done..


Since I used knit fabric I used striffner or interfacing for knit fabric.. So I traced and cut each shapes in paper. Then I glued fabric on paper and ironed on its back. All done..


You can give it as gifts for your kids or to anyone who likes puzzle. Make it with your own design and size.. Thank you.

I used this to keep my combs and some other this.. I know its so simple but you can reuse things to save money..
